The exhibition showcases Carla Zaccagnini and Runo Lagomarsino's ongoing interests in linguistics, geography, post-colonialism, national identity, gender, art history, and institutional critique.

The works are organised into five themes: mapping and topography, violence and destruction, minimising the distance, navigation through languages and regions, and displacements and the construction of national identities. Five freestanding walls, resembling compass needles, symbolise the artists' focus on geographic movement and direct the visitor's gaze and movement away from the gallery's centre. These walls appear to rotate between the bearing elements of the gallery. The walls with the labels are painted blue, while columns and beams are painted red in tribute to Lina Bo Bardi's iconic design for The São Paulo Museum of Art.
