The sequence of slides reveals a phrase from Ivan Illich's book Deschooling Society (1971) that describes an example of Paulo Freire's educational approach in a rural village. The text has been divided into twenty-two slides, each showing different hands building the words together.

The work was produced for the exhibition Collective Creativity at the Kunsthalle Fridericianum in Kassel, curated by What, How & for Whom / WHW.
