The exhibition is a tribute to the British experimental composer Cornelius Cardew (1936-1981) and the Scratch Orchestra's activities from 1969-74. It showcases a collection of visual documents that were fundamental to developing Cardew's ideas. This collection includes diagrams and visual instructions for the 193-page musical score for Treatise (1963-1967), letters, transcripts of discontent, song lyrics, and agitprop used to convey political messages.

The exhibition design features wooden brackets painted in black and white, resembling piano keys. These brackets support two rows of double glass shelves. One row has transparent glass and holds the Treatise score, while the other row's painted glass panes display pamphlets, letters, transcripts, and flyers.
