For the interior of the new Critical Studies programme at Malmö Art Academy, the tiled wall was retained from the original space, and new rubber flooring and plywood wall cladding were added. The colour range of the raw materials, which extended to the grey of the monitors, the blue neoprene of the neoprene, and the yellow chairs - conferred an idea of a laboratory-like milieu to the space. The individual workspaces combine prefabricated elements with custom-made elements. The common areas, such as the large worktable, benches, and round shelving systems, are built in plywood covered with coloured adhesive vinyl.
