Everything was to be done. All the adventures are still there
2003

Everything was to be done. All the adventures are still there marks the inception of my engagement with Swiss sociologist Albert Meister's book La soi-disant utopie du centre Beaubourg (1976). The upper section features a photograph of the Beaubourg plateau in Paris, once a parking lot before the construction of the Centre Georges Pompidou. Below is an emancipatory quote by writer and artist Kodwo Eshun from a 2000 interview with Geert Lovink. Since 2003, this work has taken on various printed forms, including posters, newspapers, postcards, and banners.
