What Time is It?
2009
MDF, plaster, paint
Ca. 260 x 200 x 800 cm

What Time is It? consists of eight curved wall segments that lean against each other. Despite their fragile appearance, the segments form a complex chain of relationships that hold each other in balance. The sculpture is accompanied by a collage which highlights the themes of connection, disconnection, and the human desire for communication. As observed in other Wall Works and installations like Strength, the allusions to the aforementioned themes play a significant role in the creation of this artwork.
